Captain America VS Ultron Robots.
Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. New Pictures. Captain America with Ironman in cover page of Entertainment Weekly Magazine.
Now this is what I'm talking about! The new Captain America uniform looks impressive and intimidating unlike the 2012 Avengers Captain America uniform which looked like a big joke and something you won't take seriously. Just take a look at that Captain America stance in the cover page. That's how Cap should roll. The Captain needs some swagger and a bit of cockiness (more confidence) in his overall look just like in the comics and not be completely goody good good, humble, and looking all worried all the time like in the Captain America: The First Avenger and Avengers movie. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is a big step up for Captain America, not yet perfect but a massive improvement.
Iron Man is still on the lead.. oh well.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier gets a score of 8.5 out of 10. The movie looked great and high quality unlike the first movie which felt cheap sometimes specially the "live action tv show" look on most part of the movie. All the actions scenes in Captain America: The Winter Soldier felt more real, intense, and hard hitting. There something about the action scenes in the First Avenger movie that look fake, corny, and generic.
The Story was awesome! The acting was great! Cap was awesome! The black widow was awesome! Batroc fight was awesome! The Winter Soldier was awesome! The Falcon was awesome! The Hellicarrier were awesome! The set pieces of the movies were large scale, high quality, and everything felt real and epic. Captain America taking down a Quinjet is the best! The music or theme was epic (lemurian star and taking a chance)! Ending credit scene is awesome! Captain America had many stunt scenes that makes him look like a legit "superhero" and member of the Avenger because basic punches and kick won't do it.
It's great to see Captain America for the first time showing his fighting prowess and skills. He's durability, endurance, agility, strength, and will power.
So what could made Captain America: The Winter Soldier perfect?
A few things.
In the final or climax battle in the Shield Hellicarier, Captain America didn't have many confrontation except for 8-12 hydra soldier that he beat easily (good thing!) before confronting the Winter Soldier again. The final face off between Captain America and the Winter Soldier was great but they could have given Cap some more difficulties before the final duel. Maybe taking on a Hydra tank or something, taking on three Quinjet this time, or taking on one of the hellicarrier huge canon and destroying it. What lacking in the final battle was an epic action stunt or scene from the Captain. Cap taking down the Quinjet should be just the appetizer. It was just a little easy for Cap to get to the chamber to disable Hydra's plan. There was one scene where a Hydra soldier fired a rocket and Cap jumped to dodge it. Cap should have taken those soldier out instead, before being overrun by more soldiers and then do the escape jump. The Falcon actually had a harder time and steal most of the scenes in the final battle.
The way the movie shows how Captain America blocks bullet fires. Most of the time it felt slow, generic and desperate. Captain America is supposed to be legendary in using the shield specially in blocking attacks yet every time he blocks something it always seems like its the first time he uses it.
More insane acrobats stunts (CGI preferably) from the Captain.
